Fire, breaking and entering or tampering: The ABUS Nexello outdoor siren for protected outdoor areas will sound the alarm at over 100 dB in all cases. On request in addition to or exclusively visually via a red LED.

The settings for alarm duration, volume and the siren LED can be flexibly configured.

Is the alarm duration too long? Or want the LED of the outdoor siren to alert you of the enabling and disarming of the alarm system? Various parameters can be individually adjusted. The desired configuration is carried out in a few simple steps via ABUS Nexello.

The outdoor siren can be operated completely 100% wirelessly using batteries or an external power supply and can be freely positioned using a wall bracket with a set of dowels and screws. It has a cover contact and wall contact as protection against tampering. The siren indicates an imminent battery replacement or power failure, via a push notification to the free Nexello app.

Installation instructions

SmartStart location

SmartStart QR code's location as follows: The DSK code (Device-Specific Key) is the device-specific key of your device and is required for secure inclusion (teach-in) via S2 on the Z-Wave controller. The first 5 digits, known as the PIN Code, of the DSK can be found underneath the QR Code on the side of the product.

The device is a FLiRS (Frequently Listening Receiver Slave) and therefore does not require a wake-up function. The outside siren can be controlled by the Z-Wave controller at any time.

Factory reset Nexello Outdoor Siren

Press the Link button 3 times quickly (within 1.5 seconds). Press quickly (within 1 second) a fourth time and hold down the Link Button for at least 5 seconds.
The siren is now reset to factory settings.
