Overview
The Heatit Z-Dim works on low loads without causing the lights to flicker. It dims LED-bulbs from 1-200VA, 230V halogen and incandescent bulbs, dimable LED-drivers and electronic transformers. The dimmer is not affected by startup inrush currents. L+N leads must be connected.
The dimmer is equipped with a multiway switching option. This allows you to light and dim a light source from one dimmer, and later turn it off with another one. Very practical for stairwells, long hallways etc.
The dimmer fits into standard Gira System 55 frame systems.
Security
As a Z-Wave Plus certified product, Z-Dim supports Z-Wave S2 security. The following security modes are directly supported:

Installation instructions
Factory reset Z-Dim
By pressing and holding the main button for 20 seconds, the dimmer will perform a complete factory reset. The connected light source will blink once and go in the ”OFF” state if successfully reset.
NB! Please use this procedure only when the primary controller/gateway is missing or otherwise inoperable.
SmartStart location
SmartStart QR code's location as follows: The Z-Wave DSK can be found in the QR-Code and is located in 3 locations;
1. Box of the product.
2. On physical product, placed on the metal frame.
3. On the PCB.
Remove
Please refer to your primary controller manual on how to enter remove mode. The device can only be removed from the network if the primary controller is in remove mode.
When the primary controller is set to remove modus press the main button on the dimmer 6 times in a rapid sequence.
When the device is removed from the network, the device will revert to factory default settings.
Add
Please refer to your primary controller manual on how to enter add mode. The device can only be added to the network if the primary controller is in add mode.
When the primary controller is set to add modus press the main button on the dimmer 6 times in a rapid sequence.
If the device already belongs to a network, follow the removing process before adding it in your network. Otherwise, the adding of this device will fail.
