Installation instructions

The Inovelli Dimmer has some amazing features such as a configuration button that allows you to change parameters without the need for a HUB. It also has an RGB LED bar that shows the dim level of the switch, the color and intensity can be changed and also has the ability to be off until the switch is manually dimmed.

Factory reset Dimmer Switch

To factory reset your dimmer, hold down the configuration button for twenty (20) or more seconds. In addition, you can you a secondary Z-Wave controller to factory reset this device (follow exclusion instructions). While both methods will factory reset your device, we recommend only using this feature when the primary controller is missing or inoperable.

There are two ways to include your dimmer switch. The first is via, ""Auto Inclusion"" while the backup is through physically pressing the configuration button.

Auto Inclusion: With the mains power off to the switch (or the air-gap pulled out), start the inclusion process on your HUB. Once the inclusion process has been started and your HUB is looking for your switch, flip the mains power on (or push the air-gap button in) and the switch should automatically include.

Config Button: If auto-inclusion doesn't work, please follow these instructions. Start by putting your HUB in inclusion mode and then press the configuration button three (3) times.

If both methods aren't working, you can check the Z-Wave signal to your switch by holding the config button for 5-10 seconds. The LED bar will light up either Green or Red. If it lights up Red, please move the switch within range of the HUB until it lights up Green. If it lights up Green and you are still having issues, you will have to run an Exclusion to reset the switch.

To exclude the dimmer, put your HUB in exclusion mode and press the configuration button three (3) times.
