How to Include Z-Wave devices in SmartThinQ Application :

You must register the LG IoT Hub in your app, and then you can include the Z-Wave devices to that LG IoT Hub and send control commands.

-Include Normal Device
When you enter the detailed screen of LG IoT Hub, there is no device included as the message ""Link to device registration"" appears at the center of the screen.
You can select the link to enter the device registration screen or select the + button on the upper right.

LG affiliate sensors can register the device after selecting the device type.
However, since Z-Wave can register any type of device when registering the device, so scroll down from the device registration screen and select ""Other devices"".

Select “Start Search”, you will enter Z-Wave inclusion mode.
If the third LED of LG IoT Hub is blinking, controller will actually send a Z-Wave inclusion frame.
Register the actual device.

After registering the device, for some device types, you will be prompted to select the device type.
When registering the BinarySwitch, the user is forced to recognize whether the device is Plug type, Switch type or Bulb type.
Also, in case of sensor, the user selects the type when registering the device.

When the registration is completed, the registered device will shown.

- Include S2 SSA Device
When registering the S2 SSA device, a screen for entering the QR code or pin code appears during device registration.

-Include S2 SSA Device
When registering the S2 SSA device, a screen for entering the QR code or pin code appears during device registration.

-Include S2 CSA Device
When registering the S2 CSA device, a popup for asking client side authentication request appears during device registration.
If the Secure device is included insecurely or if controller cannot get a sleep device wakeup interval properly, an abnormal registration notification pop-up will appear.
The corresponding device can not enter the detailed screen, and an error
pop-up occurs when selecting.

-Include Multi-endpoint Devices
Multi-endpoint devices or devices that support multiple sensor types are called ""multi-devices"", and when they enter the detailed screen of the device, it shows which device types are supported.
When the endpoint device type of the multi-device is unknown, only ""IoT device"" is displayed as below screen when entering the detailed screen. The user can directly choose the endpoint device type by selecting the corresponding endpoint device.

-Include Unsupported Device
If you register a device that is not supported by our LG IoT Hub, the device will not appear on the screen.

-How to Access
Power on Gateway and wait 2~3 minutes to get ready.
To access the web page, you first need to find the pin code of the gateway using the mobile phone app. Please refer “App usage guide” document how to get the pin code.
After getting the pin code of the gateway, press the gateway ENT(with any pin) 5 times, the third LED will blink.

If the third LED is not blinking, press the button again.
With web browser (Chrome browser is recommended), connect to Z-Wave Expert Page (http://ip_address:50001/zwavecert/login).

Input the Gateway pin code, and press Login button.

-setLearnMode
Select ‘setLearnMode’ in [Command List]
Click “Send Command” button.

Our controller supports S2 security, so if we include our controller into another controller (support S2 security), dsk popup will pop up.

Input our dsk code (5 digits) in primary controller.
Wait while pressing the “Update Log List” button until {""report"":""setLearnModeStart"",""info"":{""result"":""Success""}} appears in the log. This means setLearnMode start, and our controller gets the information about primary controller.

Wait while pressing the “Update Log List” button until {""report"":""setLearnModeReport"",""info"":{""result"":""Success""}} appears in the log. It takes a long time to send and receive information about controller and virtual node.

After success setLearnMode, our controller start “networkUpdate” to get the correct information about primary controller, so {""report"":""networkUpdateStart"",""info"":{""result"":""Success""}} and {""report"":""networkUpdateReport"",""info"":{""result"":""Success""}} will appears in the log.

Also, wait while pressing the “Update Log List” button until {""report"":""addDeviceReport"",""info"":{""result"":""Success"",""ThingUID"":""lgzwave:01""}} appears in the log.

“01” Node means primary controller’s node id.

Keep in mind that you have to wait long enough for the above log to come out.

If {""report"":"" setLearnModeReport "",""info"":{""result"":""Fail""}} appears in the log, then factory reset the controller, and try again.

If you want to send command to primary controller, please refer [Node] section.

Factory reset SmartThinQ(Standard) Hub 2.0

If the corresponding LG IoT Hub is registered in only one account, you can initialize the LG IoT Hub by selecting the previously registered LG IoT Hub on the remove screen.

Only the LG IoT Hub will be factory reset and the devices will still have information on the controller, so be careful when selecting the items below.

When LG IoT Hub is selected, all three LEDs of the LG IoT Hub will blink. When the factory reset is completed, the first and second LEDs will be turned on again.
If it not work, then press and hold the gateway ENT button for 10 seconds or more.
