Overview
It can extend the range of the communication between Z-Wave products and assist other devices to reach each other in your Z-Wave network.
It can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from other manufacturers and/or other applications. All non-battery operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to increase reliability of the network.
It is a security Z-Wave plus device, so a security enabled controller is needed for take full advantage of all functionally for the Range Extender. It also supports the Over The Air (OTA) feature for the product’s firmware upgrade.

Installation instructions
Factory reset Range Extender 6
Press and hold the Z-Wave Button for 20 seconds and then release it.
Use this procedure only in the event that your primary network controller is missing or inoperable.
Support ""Over the Air Firmware Updating"" and “Z-Wave Security”.
Turn the primary controller of Z-Wave network into inclusion mode, press the Z-Wave Button on Range Extender 6.
Turn the primary controller of Z-Wave network into exclusion mode, press the Z-Wave Button on Range Extender 6.
